The Promise

Below is an audio clip of one of the several pieces of scene change music i produced for this show. There has been a several year gap between the previous and following scene and while the two male characters, Marat and Leonidik have retained respectively an idealistic lack of maturity and a melancholic angst, Michelle Terry's character (Lika) has developed from girl to woman. I tried to capture Marat and Leonidick's characteristics in the first half of the piece and then that gives way to Lika with a nod to "Madame Butterfly" to illustrate her development.
